Recommendations Connected App Intelligence
We are introducing New Security Recommendations for Connected Apps to help you better manage and secure your Salesforce environment. To empower users to act upon the results displayed in Connected Apps Intelligence, Hubbl now identifies two high-priority security risks in our recommendations engine.
1. Connected app has self-authorization access flags installed apps that allow users to self-authorize, a setting that can pose a significant security risk by potentially exposing data without proper admin oversight.
2. Connected app is not installed identifies connected apps that exist in your org but are not formally installed, meaning they lack granular security controls like pre-authorization for specific profiles.
These recommendations provide actionable insights to proactively tighten your org's security posture, prevent unauthorized data access, and ensure all applications are properly managed.
These recommendations can affect your Hubbl score:
Enhanced Filtering Capabilities
The Connected Apps dashboard now includes Enhanced Filtering Capabilities. You can now instantly segment your list of connected apps by whether they are Installed, Admin Approved, Blocked, or have not been used within a specific timeframe (e.g., last 30 days, 3 months). This makes it significantly easier and faster to conduct audits and clean-up activities, allowing you to quickly isolate unused or unapproved apps to reduce org clutter and mitigate potential risks.
Improvements to the Dashboard Navigation
The main dashboard navigation has been rearranged in a more logical flow. These updates provide a more polished and user-friendly experience, making it easier to navigate your org insights.
